For the third year running, Consulting magazine has honored Jabian Consulting with a spot on its list of Best Firms To Work For, ranking Jabian 8th in the nation in the small firms category.

Atlanta, Georgia – September 1, 2011 – Jabian Consulting has been honored by Consulting magazine for a third year, placing 8th among 15 nationally ranked small consulting firms on its list of Best Firms to Work For. Firms in consideration were evaluated across six categories: client engagement, culture, leadership, career development, work/life balance, and compensation and benefits.

Jabian’s co-founding partner, Chris Reinking, says the firm is delighted by the honor. “Being recognized among the best of the best in our industry is particularly meaningful for our employees. It shows that the company and culture we’ve all worked so hard to foster is indeed surpassing milestones in the consulting industry,” Reinking says. “Our consultants are committed to creating optimum outcomes for our clients, fulfilling careers for themselves, and a satisfying environment for each other. We’re proud of what we’ve built together.”

In its write-up of Jabian, Consulting highlighted the firm’s dedication to work/life balance – the category in which Jabian came out on top of all small firms – citing frequent out-of-office get-togethers as well as the importance placed on mentoring (with each consultant encouraged to develop both an internal and external mentoring relationship). The article also mentioned the seven key Jabian principles and unique offerings such as the Innovation Councils, in which consultants brainstorm out-of-the-box ideas for their clients’ goals.

The Best Firms to Work For rankings are based on an online survey conducted in the summer of 2011. More than 13,000 consultants participated, representing approximately 350 firms.
