Personal Platform:

Brian Betkowski is well known for applying creativity and innovation in a practical problem solving context.  Brian is a serial entrepreneur and is able to seamlessly blend art and science to create game changing business and IT solutions.   Brian created Jabian’s industry accepted methodologies for Business and Systems Analysis as well as standardized processes for IT Strategy and Planning.  Brian is also well known for his Business Process Management work and Enterprise Architecture leadership.  His real passion and expertise lies in Business Strategy and Financial Planning which he practices regularly for internal Jabian projects as well as for Jabian’s strategic clients.  Brian regularly leads Innovation Councils for Jabian’s high growth clients and market leaders.

Experience:

Prior to co-founding Jabian Consulting, Brian worked with Accenture in their Communications and High Tech practice focusing on business consulting and systems integration. Prior to Accenture, Brian served as a Mechanical Engineer for Nordson Corporation where he was responsible for manufacturing, system design, research, and development.

Education:

With a degree from The Georgia Institute of Technology in Mechanical Engineering, Brian holds two patents and has been published by the Technology Association of Georgia, has spoken at the Business Process Management Society, has been featured on the Professional Atlanta radio show and on TAG Radio, and has co-launched the Atlanta Process Executive Roundtable.  He remains an active supporter of Georgia Tech and is on the board of his fraternity alumni association, Chi Phi.

Community:

Always looking to make a contribution to the community, Brian established and manages a partnership between Jabian and TechBridge, a local non-profit that provides technology solutions to other local non-profits.  Brian and his Jabian team have been actively engaged as advisors to TechBridge and have won the Client Advisor: Local Community Involvement Award for their work.  Brian is also actively engaged in Jabian’s charitable organization, Jabian Cares, where he focuses on creating and identifying innovative charitable approaches for our local community and is involved with the many organizations that are supported by Jabian Cares.

After hours:

Outside of work, Brian keeps a busy schedule with many hobbies: hunting, fishing, sailing, golfing, woodworking, motorcycles, grilling, entertaining, and camping to name a few.  Brian also enjoys travel, watching Yellow Jackets football, and NASCAR.  Brian lives in historic Inman Park with his wife, Jade, and two dogs, Hank and Junior.
