At Jabian, Membership Has Its Privileges – For Everyone

TAG Premier Corporate Members such as Jabian Consulting extend added benefits to all employees.

Run into any of the three founding partners of Jabian Consulting at a TAG event, and you’ll find they can converse at great length about the benefits of TAG Premier Corporate Membership. What they can’t do is fathom why a companywouldn’t choose Premier membership for their staff.

Serving on the Board of Directors for TAG and as the chair for the TAG Premier Task Force, Nigel Zelcer knows plenty about what the Premier program offers. It’s part of his role, after all, to talk it up; TAG aims to reach 120 Premier member companies by the end of 2010.  But more importantly, he and his company have experienced the advantages of membership firsthand.

“Jabian became a TAG Premier member early in the program’s first year,” Zelcer says. “Premier membership streamlined a lot of decisions for us – we pay just one fee, once a year, and everyone in our company is automatically enrolled. Everybody can participate at the highest level, and we’re all better able to support the technology community here in Atlanta.”

Brian Betkowski agrees. “It’s an innovative option,” he says. “If you take a strategic approach to selecting business societies and memberships, you can’t argue with the value the Premier program delivers.

In addition to company-wide enrollment, exclusive benefits offered to TAG Premier members include free, unlimited postings on TAG’s online job board; a highlight story about a company leader on TAG Radio; onsite, customized orientation by TAG staff; and added visibility and branding opportunities. Part of Premier membership proceeds also benefit the TAG Education Collaborative, meaning membership has a philanthropic element, too.

Jabian’s Chris Reinking believes Premier membership helps foster the company’s commitment to professional development and community service as well. “Our employees have access to all TAG Premier offerings, including more than 150 events a year and discounts on training programs,” he says. “It’s hard to beat that return on investment.”
