Atlanta – December 1, 2009

It was a distinct honor for Jabian Consulting to participate in this year’s Creative Growth Group’s Atlanta Client Advisor Awards. These awards in Atlanta honor professional service firms and their clients who eagerly and diligently help to build successful client advisor relationships. Jabian was selected as this year’s Client Advisor Community Involvement Award recipient and was a finalist for the Small Professional Services Firm award.

Jabian Consulting put forward one case study representing its client-advisor activities that illustrated client advisory competence in the Atlanta community. Jabian had to convey how their company’s offerings and employees used collaborative, creative, content-oriented, capable, and credible means to help engage with their community client. The judges ranked each application based on these competencies to narrow the nominee field.

After working closely with Kathleen Kurre, CEO for TechBridge, and her staff this past year, Jabian’s obvious case study choice was TechBridge. TechBridge works with nonprofits to help them use technology to do more and serve more people. Over the last 10 years, TechBridge and its volunteers have helped more than 300 nonprofits leverage technologies that significantly improve their ability to help all types of people in their communities. In 2009, more than 200 volunteers from more than 40 different companies donated over 6,000 hours of their time to support TechBridge and its nonprofit clients. TechBridge’s dedicated staff inspires us all to give a little back when and where we can.

“This past year, Jabian Consulting played a key role in helping TechBridge find ways to better meet the needs of the nonprofit community. Brian Betkowski and Michael Lan developed a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool to assist TechBridge in quickly identifying nonprofits that have the greatest technology needs. The work done by Jabian Consulting is an asset to TechBridge. We have a small staff and rely heavily on the help of volunteers – Brian and Michael’s proficiency and contributions were invaluable to us,” said Kathleen Kurre, CEO of TechBridge.

“Jabian Consulting helped TechBridge put an analytical mind to the market and created the right perspective for the management team to expand capacity for nonprofits. They were able to create an understanding of the market; a framework and a tool to help TechBridge discuss what type of customers need TechBridge help the most. Jabian helped TechBridge focus on the right things, rather than the shotgun approach of talking with every nonprofit in the Metro area,” continued Kurre.

“I don’t know of another place where you can, by helping one nonprofit, help so many others. Jabian uses its core skills at a real grass-roots level. Nonprofits need to be more efficient than ever in a difficult economy. The efficiency they gain with the right technology allows them to put their money where it really needs to go: in the community, not to internal resources.” said Brian Betkowski, a founding partner at Jabian Consulting.
