Krista Marlatt, director at Jabian Consulting, is the new manager for a leadership development program produced by Women in Technology (WIT).

Atlanta, Georgia – September 19, 2011 – A leader in the support and advocacy of women in technological career fields, the organization Women in Technology (WIT) has asked Jabian’s Krista Marlatt to lead its Executive Readiness program. The program is part of Careers in Action, a leadership development series intended to help up-and-coming leaders develop the skills necessary for making their next career moves.

The Executive Readiness program provides a combination of individual coaching with small-group training to help women leaders develop a personal career strategy, promote their own successes, and increase visibility in their industry. Participants are exclusively women in senior-level leadership positions – with 15 years experience in a technology field, experience managing a team of direct reports, and a proven track record of strong management. Jabian will host the program in its Atlanta office.

“We’re very proud of Krista,” says Jabian co-founding partner Brian Betkowski. “As a high performer in our industry and a thoughtful and skilled mentor, she’s a perfect choice to lead this effort for WIT and help others navigate their upward career paths.”

Marlatt says she’s looking forward to the opportunity. “I’m particularly excited to begin working with the talented individuals who take part in the Executive Readiness program.”

WIT‘s mission is to foster the advancement of women in Georgia’s technology community, “from the classroom to the boardroom.” It is one of three founding societies of the Technology Association of Georgia.
