Atlanta, Georgia – September 10, 2012 – The Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of Atlanta has announced the finalists for the 2012 IMPACT Awards. Jabian Consulting is proud to be named finalist for the Corporate Volunteer Program of the Year IMPACT Award for the second consecutive year. The award is presented to exemplary corporate employee volunteer programs that effectively integrate volunteerism into the company’s business culture.
Jabian Consulting is dedicated to helping the Atlanta community. The company’s charitable organization, Jabian Cares, is an employee-led and employee-funded 501(c)(3) foundation, focused on supporting innovative approaches to improving the quality of life in the local community through volunteerism, leadership, and financial support. Since the foundation’s launch in 2009, the program has flourished.
Jabian’s 74 consultants log more than 3500 volunteer service hours per year. Jabian employees utilize their deep consulting skills to help nonprofit organizations develop their programs and undergo strategic planning, enhancing efficiency for the organizations served.
In 2011, Jabian hosted 20 corporate volunteer events, with employee participation exceeding 90%. Forty two percent of Jabian employees participate in payroll deduction supporting the charitable foundation, contributing a cumulative $45,000 to local nonprofits in 2011. Jabian’s emphasis on community helps attract and retain quality talent, which is evident by its less than 3% voluntary employee turnover since it was established. Jabian looks forward to the 15th Annual Corporate Volunteer Council (CVC) of Atlanta’s IMPACT Awards. The event will be held Thursday, September 20th at the Piedmont Driving Club. This year’s program features a special welcome by Governor Nathan Deal and a keynote address by CNN HLN Anchor, Christi Paul, followed by the highly-anticipated IMPACT Awards program.
