August, 2010 – Jabian Cares Paints Parrots for the Foundation for Hospital Art in Marietta, Georgia. The Foundation for Hospital Art’s mission is to give comfort and hope to those who suffer in hospitals by providing volunteer led, designed and created artwork to hospitals. The vision and quest is to help make hospitals beautiful places for healing by donating beautifully created works of art. Jabian Cares added one to the collection.

The Jabian employees had a great time painting and a Red Parrot mural that looked terrific!  The proud recipient of the Jabian Cares heartfelt master piece was Dream House for Kids, an organization that provides a transitional housing and training for medically fragile children that are transitioning from hospital care to home care.

“The Atlanta community has given us incredible opportunities and we’re always grateful to give back in meaningful ways. We’ve made community involvement a priority and Jabian Cares provides the springboard for our employees to volunteer and provide funding to many important non-profit cause charitable causes,” says Brian Betkowski, co-founding partner of Jabian Consulting. “For us, community involvement is not just something that we do on the side. It’s a vital aspect of who we are as a company, and we support giving both time and resources needed to make a real impact in Atlanta.”

jabian-cares-hospital-art“Over 500,000 volunteers and patients have united in an effort to create over 35,000 paintings for over 2,000 hospitals in 194 countries. The idea to establish the Foundation for Hospital Art developed through years of painting in hospitals and seeing the comfort art gave to the patients, medical staff and visitors,” says The Foundation for Hospital Art.
